About the event
The MSCC Study Day will provide a basic understanding of how to manage patients with suspected or confirmed Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression. The day will feature an overview of MSCC and include discussions of the recently updated NICE MSCC Guidelines (Sept 2023). Aspects of diagnosis and management will be covered; including recognising red flags; imaging modalities; treatment with surgery; radiotherapy; nursing care and rehabilitation as well as looking at MSCC from the patient perspective.
