This course examines requests under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR). There are also several exemptions and exceptions under FOI and EIR. This Freedom of Information Requests and Exemptions training course will equip you with the skills and confidence to identify and respond to requests; and also know when you can withhold information from a requester. Ensure you have effective practices in place and are able to build trust with the public with clear and transparent processes. Take the opportunity to assess your procedures ensuring that you are making effective use of staff and resource allocation.
