The Nurturing Neurodivergence Programme â Safety & Connection
17 Oct 2024
About the event
This two-day conference includes internationally-renowned speakers who will provide experiential insight; the toolkit needed to better understand the needs of neurodivergent individuals; and practical solutions to create more nurturing environments. With interactive workshops; case studies; and a Q&A; participants will leave this conference feeling more equipped to help support and enable them to thrive and achieve their individual potentials. Learn how simple and effective acceptance of those with differences can benefit them hugely; making a real difference to the mental health of the next generation of Neurodivergent’s. We’ll look at it through a different lens; one that brings about change; diversity; inclusion; acceptance and understanding.
Founded in 2020 by autistic author and parenting advocate Jodie Isitt, the Nurture Programme has evolved out of an increased and ongoing demand from parents across the globe seeking support and advice for their families. Jodie spent several years passionately advocating for families drawing on her personal experience and knowledge but with the extent of the need she began to look at ways in which she could offer support to more people. This led to the creation of a series of programmes aimed specifically at helping and supporting families who were going through a variety of challenges.
