Applying NLP to Healthcare Text: Techniques and Tools (Workshop)

About the event
This workshop; led by an expert in health informatics and natural language processing (NLP); is designed to equip researchers with practical skills in the foundations of neural networks and their applications in NLP. Participants will gain hands-on experience in building simple NLP applications using Python. Learning will be embedded through a 3-stage workshop; combining online learning; hands-on practice; and a follow-up Q&A. This workshop is part of a series covering sessions on R; Python; Data Management; and Epidemiological Methods using R; and Machine Learning rolled out between 2022-2024.
