This conference will cover a wide range of topics such as capacity issues around assisted dying and palliative care; limitations of the existing laws; fitness to be interviewed and to stand trial; capacity issues in primary care and elderly care settings and case discussion on complex case scenarios and difficult decisions. It is aimed at GPs; Hospital Doctors; Nurses; Psychologists and Psychotherapist; Solicitors and other legal professionals/human rights activists; Social workers and Ots; Medical; nursing and other clinical students and those working with charities or support groups that care for individuals who may have mental capacity issues.
