The annual conference of Health Visitors; organized by the Panhellenic Association of Health Visitors; focuses on health promotion and prevention. Sessions will highlight; among others; innovative programs; health inequalities; digital health advancements; and women’s health from adolescence to menopause. This event serves as a platform for professionals to exchange expertise; explore cutting-edge solutions; and enhance primary and community healthcare practices in Greece.
The Panhellenic Association of Health Visitors, established in 1985 and officially recognized as a Legal Entity of Public Law in 2014, functions under the supervision of the Ministry of Health in Greece. The Association plays a critical role in public health promotion, disease prevention and in increasing the vaccination coverage of the population. It organizes numerous annual activities aimed at raising awareness and preventing health issues. For its members, the association hosts educational webinars and one Panhellenic Conference each year, ensuring continuous professional development. This robust support system empowers Health Visitors to effectively engage in health education, disease prevention, and support for vulnerable groups.
