Caring with Confidence Healthcare Professional Study Day

22 Feb 2017

About the event

A new study-day developed with SIA’s clinical team of Nurse Advocates looks at issues affecting spinal-cord injured (SCI) people on a daily basis. The day aims to inform non-specialist staff about the personal-care and nutritional needs of someone with spinal-cord injury; these are of paramount importance to quality-of-life. The day is also an opportunity for delegates to gain more information on services provided for them - and their family-member or client - by the Spinal Injuries Association. Our Peer Support Officers are themselves all spinal-cord injured; so they can speak from a personal perspective about living with SCI.
