About the event
We are organising a series of events across England to help health and care professionals to explore: why supporting staff makes sense; with definitive evidence now showing how it improves the experience for patients; how safe reflective practice contributes to a positive and open working culture; how patient-centred quality improvement can empower staff to make tangible changes that benefit both patients and staff; how to demonstrate that your organisation meets CQC criteria for staff engagement; organisational culture and leadership.
The Foundation is an independent charity working to improve patients experience of care and increase support for the staff who work with them. We support over 200 healthcare organisations in all sectors to transform their culture and put the experiences of staff and patients at the heart of their work. We provide training in Schwartz Rounds and patient-centred service design. Through our Heads of Patient Experience (HOPE) network, we offer peer learning and support and the opportunity for members to learn from best practice.
