This practical and hands-on course covers company accounts; budgeting; risk; and fraud. Participants will gain confidence in working with business managers on all aspects of finance and risk management. They will develop skills in dealing with audit and auditors; in developing effective internal procedures; and in working with budgets in environments of uncertainty and change. This course is taught by experienced professionals with extensive experience of the not-for-profit sector. Following two intensive days on-site at King's; participants will be expected to work on a finance-related task based on their own institution; and agreed with the facilitators.
