This course aims to teach participants about research methods relevant to investigating risk factors and effectiveness of interventions for women’s mental health problems. The course will also provide practical guidance on safety and ethical issues in women’s mental health research. The course will be split into three key areas; covering an introduction to women's mental health and research methodologies on day one; perinatal mental health on day two and violence to women and mental health on day three. Participants will have the option of attending one; two or three days depending on their interests.
