There is substantial evidence which demonstrates that both the design and the environmental quality of an office impact on the productivity of its occupants. Adam Mactavish; Operations Director at Currie & Brown will present research from the BCO; Defining and Measuring Productivity in Offices. Following the research presentation; Rock Townsend will introduce the refurbishment; reorganisation and radical uplift of the Berghaus headquarters. It is a unique example of the power and ability of architecture through team collaboration to transform a tired office into a new vision of sustainable creative workplace.
Established in 1990, the British Council for Offices' (BCO) mission is to research, develop and communicate best practice in all aspects of the office sector. It delivers this by providing a forum for the discussion and debate of relevant issues.
