Dr. Ben Akande; Consultant Clinical Psychologist; will share his best practice and innovative approaches to managing the challenging behaviours often associated with complex dementia. Dr. Akande specialises in treating individuals living with very challenging behaviours and working with them to develop new strategies to improve their lives. Health and social care commissioners; social workers; bed managers; clinical and non-clinical colleagues interested in finding out about new approaches to challenging behaviour will find this free event a useful opportunity to gain new insights.
