This event will give updates of the progress of the Government’s strategy to tackle loneliness along with other key organisations who are campaigning for improvement. It examines loneliness issues in older people younger adults disabled people and people from BAME backgrounds. Hear how local authorities are developing partnerships with health and social care to provide community-based services to improve loneliness. Understand the role of technology and transport to connect people with their communities.
