We have been asking our members from across the industries the reasons why they became a CPD provider. This CPD Member case study was provided by Action on Pre-Eclampsia. For more information, please visit their CPD Member Directory page.
Please provide us with a brief overview of your organisation. What do you do?
Action on Pre-eclampsia (also known as APEC) aims to raise public and professional awareness of pre-eclampsia, improve care, and ease or prevent physical and emotional suffering caused by the disease. We do this by providing information and support to members of the public who are affected by pre-eclampsia as well as supporting research into the condition.
Why did you become a CPD provider?
APEC have many online education courses for healthcare professionals covering all aspects of pre-eclampsia. Being part of the CPD community ensures our courses are rigorously tested and checked and adds security for professionals that our courses are valid and relevant.
How did you implement CPD accreditation in your organisation?
We advertise the CPD accredited courses on our website and social media channels.
Has CPD helped your organisation achieve its learning objectives?
Yes - one of our charitable objectives is to provide a professional and respected qualification for clinicians.
We hope this brief CPD Member Case Study from Action on Pre-Eclampsia was both interesting and helpful. Please go to the APEC CPD Member profile page for more on their available CPD.
