Richmond Training Hub

Richmond Training Hub

The Richmond Training Hub supports multiprofessional primary care workforce development and transformation. Funded mainly by Health Education England (HEE) we do this by co-ordinating training as well as undertaking various pilots and initiatives to test new ways of working. For example, facilitating primary care placements such as; student nurses, pharmacists, speciality trainee doctors, physician associates, apprenticeships, medical assistants and the primary care navigator. A key objective across all workstreams is the requirement to boost capacity and capability in primary care to enable more care to take place at home and out of hospital. Established in November 2014, the Richmond Training Hub operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise; with all funds invested in workforce development.
