Neurodevelopmental Conditions and Mental Health

Full day’s evidence-based training for professionals who work with families of children/young people with a neurodevelopmental condition (NDC); This course has been developed to provide an awareness and understanding of the impact that NDCs can have on an individual’s mental health; The course looks at the ways mental health conditions present in young people with NDCs; and how to best manage and support them for improved wellbeing; It introduces key strategies and effective ways of working with children and young people with NDCs and mental health issues; including when and how to refer to a mental health specialist.
