Responding to distressed behaviours

Training Course Alzheimer's Society

About the CPD course

This course focuses on behaviour as a form of communication. It enables participants to embrace new approaches to support people with dementia with complex needs; based on delivering respect; compassion and empathy. Participants will be able to recognise and identify certain behaviours in people with dementia and their associated triggers. Participants will be more confident in situations they previously found challenging. More positive outcomes will be achieved; helping to enrich the lives of the people they care for.
