About the CPD course

This module looks at the cycle of domestic abuse; and its relationship with distressing behaviour. It examines the barriers people face in trying to get support We will consider the key elements of domestic violence in relationship to the behaviours that are shown by both abuser and victim. The module looks at the types of abuse; their signs and symptoms; and the shocking statistics that come with domestic violence in the UK And; importantly; it looks at what staff can do to help and the support available.
