About the CPD course
This Training Course is aimed those who work with a social care and Healthcare setting especially those who operate within a Mental Health Capacity such as Mental Health Nurses; HCAs and/or support workers. There are several theoretical elements included within this course; each are aimed at highlighting to our delegates; how to recognise the signs and symptoms of anger and aggression whilst emphasising the importance of highly skilled de-escalation techniques. We discuss the relevant aspects of law; The importance of clear and concise communication; positive behaviour support planning; report writing. The practical element will consist of multiple high and low level physical interventions; such as breakaway techniques; prone and supine restraints.
