About the CPD course

Biofilms is the term used to describe a bacterial growth of microorganisms on a surface; which form glue-like substances which is difficult to remove and survives in aqueous environments. Whilst not something new; microbiology research has given us a better understanding of how organisms; grow on surfaces, communicate and survive. This advanced course explores the nature of Biofilms; the impact they have on food processing sites and how we can combat them in practice.
