About the CPD course

In this session; we’ll establish a core understanding of disability. Our facilitators will share their own lived experiences to discuss how we must change our perception and understanding of disability. We’ll explore the concept of disability; how disablism arises; and address why accessible practice is essential. We’ll demonstrate how certain practices exist that manifest and often create disabling and unproductive environments to the detriment of all. It’s in our hands to make change; and we’ll conclude the session by highlighting practices that create inclusive environments; attitudes and outcomes for all.
