About the CPD course

From the Idiots Act to the Equality Act; learn how legislation; behaviour and attitudes towards disabled people in the UK have evolved over time. Discover the values and principles that guide disability justice campaigning; including key milestones and events that have led to successful improvements in legislative protections. Together; we’ll take a deep dive into the Equality Act 2010. We’ll examine the rights and protections afforded by the act; including how we should approach ‘anticipatory’ and ‘reasonable’ adjustments. Engage in discussions; ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of disability rights; protections; and leverage in the UK today.
