1 Day Workshop working with child to parent abuse Family Based Solutions have been working with Child to Parent Abuse for the past 12 years. This workshop will cover the common factors that contribute to child to parent abuse and how to support families overcome this often misunderstood form of abuse. The workshop will provide case examples and how to work with this issue in a strengths based; solution focused approach.
Established in 2012, Family Based Solutions addresses the needs of families experiencing numerous challenges. Over the years, they've expanded their services to aid families recovering from domestic abuse, adults exhibiting harmful behaviours, and introduced Building On Strengths and Solutions (B.O.S.S), a well-being service for students and staff in schools. FBS expertise include providing training to both statutory and non-statutory organisations, including the Met Police, NSPCC, Educators, and Social Care. As a strength-based organisation, their training workshops emphasise solution-focused approaches to enhance both individual and organisational development.
