About the CPD course

The JSE e-Campus Certificate Course; Social Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development is designed to introduce participants to the concepts; practices; opportunities; and challenges of social entrepreneurship within the paradigm of sustainable development. The course is intended to expose participants to macroeconomic framework within which the social sector operates. Participants will explore how the use of a market-driven business model may effectively address critical social and environmental issues in a sustainable manner. They will gain a better appreciation of their role in contributing to the achievement of the Jamaica’s National Strategy; and by extension; three clusters of SDGs — People; Prosperity; and Partnerships.
