About the CPD course

The Emergency Care Nursing Cardiac Specialty Program is an advanced program designed to prepare nurses for the specialised care of cardiac patients. The program includes a combination of classroom instruction; clinical practice; and simulation experiences. Upon completion of the program; nurses will be prepared to provide high-quality care to cardiac patients in a variety of settings; including emergency departments; cardiac care; and critical care. These experiences provide nurses with the opportunity to practice their skills in a safe and controlled environment for nurses who are new to cardiac care or who are working to improve their skills.
