About the CPD course

This toolkit helps SMEs and Freelancers take positive actions to build a culture that champions good mental and physical health. The toolkit provides a greater understanding of how to help those who need more support. You will be provided with an SME Toolkit for Mental Health and Wellbeing. This three-hour self-study interactive workshop is built into eight sessions;- Session 1 – An introduction – statistics and language; Session 2 – What is mental health and inequalities; Session 3 – What is stress; Session 4 – Mental Health First Aid; Session 5 - Suicide Awareness; Session 6 – Mental Illness and mental health Conditions; Session 7 – Depression; Session 8 – Mental Health at Work and how to stay well. Each season has videos; and some have a quiz to help aid the learner.

Set up in 1992 by Becky Wright, New Leaf has a long history and wealth of experience, helping many people from all walks of life. Becky Wright is a Mental Health First Aid instructor and delivers Adult MHFA courses in the Somerset area. Our wellbeing services include counselling, coaching, onsite weight loss programmes, health information and support services for employees. Our pop up wellbeing sessions have become increasingly popular and we hold regular half day sessions across Somerset. All our work is business to business.
