About the CPD course

Line Managers are ideally positioned to make the biggest difference to mental health in the workplace; but few managers know what to say or do when a colleague or team member discloses a mental health issue. This training aims to give line managers mental health awareness; essential communication skills to handle difficult conversations; and a broader understanding of how to promote a culture of wellbeing. This training includes how to spot the early warning signs of mental health and provide Line managers with the skills and confidence needed to intervene and have the supportive conversations necessary.

The founder Becky Wright is a Mental Health First Aid instructor, and delivers Adult MHFA courses in the Somerset area. Mental Health First Aid is an educational course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help a person who may be developing a mental health issue. In the same way as we learn physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health.
