About the CPD course

This training is an introduction into safeguarding for those who work with children and young people within an educational setting. This course provides delegates with the knowledge of how to recognise signs of abuse; as well as the duty and process of recording and referring. This training also provides insight to safeguarding legislation and informs delegates of their mandatory duties to protect children and young people from harm. This level of training is recommended by Department for Education in Keeping Children Safe in Education and is statutory for all staff working in schools.
