Equality; Diversity and Inclusion that takes delegates on a learning experience to explore their own bias; barriers to EDI along with learning key legislation and policies. Activity based learning that allows delegates to also reflect on their behaviour and how to act when they see; hear or witness someone else being abused or discriminated against. A unique course that delivers lived and active working experiences from its facilitator.
Palm Cove Society provides supported accommodation and activities which benefit communities. Our focus is on refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, victims of slavery, human trafficking, domestic violence, forced marriage, honour based violence, FGM, homeless people.
We particularly welcome, women, men and children who are leaving abusive circumstances or other individuals similarly disadvantaged. We operate as a halfway house to give individuals the breathing space required to develop life skills and the basic knowledge required for UK living. Many of our residents have now moved on into their own tenancies and are successfully integrated into their new found environment, many return or telephone periodically to access our outreach service.
