This course is designed to educate learners on the Trauma Informed Approach and how we can implement it into everyday practice. It highlights what Trauma is and how it presents itself in a person surrounding persons and how it affects everyday life. We focus on the delivery of the Trauma Informed Approach and how it will benefit the client receiving support and the overall organisation.
We are a unique charity, delivering programmes which reduce reoffending, tackle homelessness and feed communities. Our workshops and partner employers offer training and employment opportunities for ex-offenders to develop skills and secure full-time work ready for release. We also offer wrap-around support for men and women to secure stable housing, manage finances, rebuild relationships and more.. Our facility offers safe, supportive accommodation from which men receive personal support and undertake training and work placements. Developing their skills, confidence and resilience, residents then move into work and their own home.
