About the CPD course

The module illustrates how swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) can be an important factor in the treatment of many mental health patients and highlights some of the patient groups who may be at risk. By increasing knowledge of dysphagia and mental health; healthcare professionals will be more confident to ask patients about any issues swallowing their medication and better able to identify patients who may require additional support.
