About the CPD course

E-learning module suitable for all healthcare professionals; particularly GPs; advanced nurse practitioners; and care support workers. The content covers the different types of hydrocephalus and how they develop; the clinical symptoms of hydrocephalus and how it can be diagnosed and treated. The range of possible physical and cognitive effects of hydrocephalus are explored; and guidance for supporting people with the condition is covered. The module has been produced by Shine; a UK charity for spina bifida; anencephaly; hydrocephalus and related conditions.
