This training is designed to provide foster carers with a wider awareness of Child Protection and Safeguarding. The course focuses on recognising child abuse and the actions to take when abuse is suspected. The day will provide delegates with an update in safeguarding legislation, guidance and key messages from practice, contextual safeguarding, Adverse Childhood Experiences, FGM, counter terrorism and radicalisation, county lines, child criminal and sexual exploitation, information sharing and record keeping and whistleblowing.
