Missing from care

Online Course The Foster Carer Training Company

About the CPD course

Children going missing from care is; unfortunately all too common. In fact; in 2020 alone; there were an estimated 73;772 missing from care incidents across the UK. While this is something we hope you won’t have to experience as a foster carer; it is best to be prepared. Your actions and those of other responsible organisations (i.e. local authority; police); play a big role in making sure the child is found and properly cared for upon their return. This course will take you step by step what to do if you ever find yourself in this situation.
