About the CPD course

This session will equip people to feel more confident around the topic of Suicide. We look at up to date statistics and the impact it has on peoples lives. We identify myths and facts around suicide with our aim being to reduce stigma. We recognise warning signs and key indicators if someone is considering suicide. We provide basic tools on how to hold a conversation around suicide; preferred language and how to signpost. If we all play a part; we can help to prevent many suicides. Delivered by a qualified trainer; interactive sessions and encouraged note taking.
