About the CPD course

All staff should have awareness training on the use of defibrillators to ensure they are meeting their statutory obligations. Defibrillators, as work equipment, are covered by the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER). As such, this places a duty on employers in respect of employee training and the provision of information and instructions in the use of such equipment.

Developed by Samantha Kendall, a highly qualified first aider and emergency medical technician, this Essential CPD course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to be able to effectively operate and use an AED.
