About the CPD course
This course is a one-day holistic training course introducing practitioner teams to the fundamentals of therapeutic childcare. With a focus on early attachment experiences; brain development; adverse childhood experiences and developmental trauma. This training course encourages participants to be curious and compassionate about the lived experiences of children and young people. This course encourages teams to look beneath the behaviour and to understand behaviour through a lens of unmet needs. The course also explores the key differences between traditional and therapeutic approaches to parenting; and the principles of PACE.
