Literacy in the Early Years

This comprehensive Literacy in the Early Years training course will teach you everything from developing children’s communication skills to learning to read and write. You will learn about how to develop all the skills required in order for children to become successful readers and writers and we include lots of activity ideas to help you do this. This course looks at muscle memory; involving parents in their children’s learning; pre-phonic skills and phonics; tips to get the most out of reading to children; building muscle strength and how to use open ended resources to help children to learn to write.
