About the CPD course

Mentoring forms an integral part of developing & strengthening competencies to enhance job performance and career progression. The aim of this training programme is to explore the Role of the Mentor; how to successfully structure the mentoring session (6 stages of mentoring); effective communication techniques and the development methods that can be utilised. Training has been designed combining group discussions; worksheets and assessments; as well as practical exercises to support development in the various techniques / skills required; maximising the student's learning potential in developing their knowledge; skills and techniques.
