DS Medication Awareness

Medication Awareness training provides participants with essential knowledge and skills to ensure safe and effective medication management in healthcare settings. participants learn about relevant legislation; regulations; and guidelines governing medication administration in the UK; including those set forth by NICE. They become proficient in the principles of the 7 Rights of Medication Administration; understand common categories of medications and their uses; and grasp various routes of administration. Participants also learn to identify potential drug interactions and adverse effects; monitor dosage systems; prioritize medication safety; and employ strategies to prevent errors. Effective communication and accurate record-keeping are emphasized throughout the training to enhance patient outcomes and promote medication safety.
