DS Restraint

DS Restraint provides essential knowledge and skills for safely managing challenging behaviour in clinical settings. It covers the ethical and legal aspects of restraint; emphasizing the importance of using it only as a last resort when all other interventions have failed. Participants will learn about different types of physical; mechanical; and chemical restraints; as well as techniques to minimise risk and harm. The course also focuses on patient dignity; safety; and the need for continuous monitoring and de-escalation during restraint; ensuring that healthcare professionals can act with confidence and compassion.
