About the CPD course

The course will provide participants with the skills; knowledge and confidence to facilitate Family Group Conferences in working with children and families. We will ensure that participants to gain: An understanding of the value and principles underpinning Family Group Conferences ;a working knowledge of FGCs; including understanding skills in preparing and managing the meeting; supporting the family and the follow up process; understanding of the legal and policy framework; understanding around the complexities of family led decision-making and learn skills in managing these complexities and conflicts in families; experience in the above through role play.
