About the CPD course
This Autism Wales training webinar delivered for us by Jo Steer gives an overview of ADHD with the particular focus being on women and girls. She introduces the fact that girls & women with ADHD are flying under the radar and speaks about why ADHD in women and girls is being missed and gives an insight into masking. The webinar then goes on to look at the impact of late diagnosis also misdiagnosis and the impact that this may have. It looks at what we can do to support and gives some useful resource ideas.
The National Neurodivergence Team is funded by Welsh Government to help improve the lives of neurodivergent people and their families across Wales.
The Team does this in several ways – through co-produced training and resources, practice sharing and promoting the needs of neurodivergent people.
The Team’s website, NeurodivergenceWales.org is a key part of the National Neurodivergence Team’s offer. It contains a range of bilingual, free-to-access information and resources on many topics relating to neurodivergence, including e-learning modules developed in partnership with neurodivergent people, parents, carers and professionals to help give a better understanding of autism and ADHD.
