  • Heart failure and Cardiac Disease in the Community

    This one day workshop develops knowledge and skills in understanding anatomy and physiology of the heart and develops skills in managing patients who present to primary care settings with hypertension or heart failure. An overview of Cardiac pathology and ischaemic heart disease is given.

  • Gynae/Sexual Health and Contraception Overview

    This course had been designed to give participants an overview of common gynaecological problems; current methods of fertility control and the risks and benefits of different methods. The course will prepare clinicians to support appropriately qualified staff in monitoring women taking hormonal contraception and giving basic advice. Emergency contraception choices will also be discussed.
