Schools Safeguarding

I have worked in Education for over 20 years. I started out working with children in a residential educational setting, moving on to mainstream via other specialist provisions. I have worked with children aged 4 – 17 with a variety of different needs such as ASD, SEMH (EBD), challenging behaviour, learning difficulties, attachment difficulties as well as pupils whose needs are met via mainstream education. I have always specialised in the pastoral side of education and am passionate about embracing the support schools can offer to children and families in order that they reach their potential. I have a proven track record in improving safeguarding for individual families, schools and wider services. I am enthusiastic and realistic about the challenges we face in education and truly believe that together we can overcome these to provide an offer of outstanding safeguarding for every pupil that comes through your doors every day.
