About the CPD course
This training workshop is designed to give attendees tools to identify signs of poor mental health in colleagues or young people they support. Staff will learn how to have conversations about mental health;how to sign post and how to manage the risks associated with poor mental health. This training also provides attendees with information on local mental health services and support available.
The Brandon Centre is a charitable organisation that has provided information, mental health interventions and sexual health services to young people for over 50 years. In addition to its core services, the centre provides a wide range of support which includes projects in youth consultation and training, childhood obesity, families with children who are in trouble with the law, photography and parenting. The Brandon Centre has established partnerships with both statutory and voluntary organisations and is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the young people it supports.
